The story behind Hodge and Rowel

THE STORY

A REAL OBJECT.
A STORY WORTH KEEPING.

On a wall in Texas hangs a collection of historic barbed wire identified as having come from the XIT Ranch. Among those pieces was one that stood apart: the Hodge Spur Rowel.

It was strange, practical, mechanical, and beautiful in the way old working objects can be beautiful. Someone once faced a problem, bent iron into a new shape, and tried something different.

That piece of wire gave Hodge & Rowel its name.

Hodge & Rowel is a new American heritage brand. The history is our inspiration, not a costume. Coffee is where we begin, but it is not where the story has to end.
